Lessonly, an Indianapolis-based provider of team training software, raised an $8m Series B funding.
The round was led by OpenView, with participation from Rethink Education, High Alpha Capital, and Allos Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate hiring initiatives and expand into the sales enablement and customer support training industries.
Led by Max Yoder, CEO and co-founder, Lessonly provides training software to over 1,000,000 learners at more than 500 companies including NBC News, Trunk Club, Ibotta and Thumbtack, etc., to translate work knowledge, reinforce best practices, accelerate rep performance, etc., into lessons that accelerate productivity. Team members are enabled to practice their skills, while managers offer feedback. Lessonly can be integrated with and used alongside other applications—like Salesforce, Zendesk, Google Chrome, and Slack.
