Voxpopme, a UK-based company that provides a video analytics platform, secured a seven-figure Series A funding.
Mercia Fund Managers made investment.
The company intends to use the funds to enhance its end-to-end video insight technology, to recruit 15 additional staff across North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and to expand globally over the next 12 months.
Founded in 2013 by CEO Dave Carruthers, Voxpopme provides a video insight platform for brands and agencies to see the people behind the data to drive real customer-centric decision making. Its technology lets users capture customer videos at speed, analyze at scale and share easily.
CLients include such brands as Microsoft, Tesco, Verizon and Clorox.
Voxpopme currently employs 30 people in Birmingham, Salt Lake City and Sydney.
