MyVR Raises $6.1M in Series A Funding

MyVR, a San Francisco, CA-based multi-channel management platform for vacation rental businesses, raised an additional $6.1m in Series A funding.

The round, which brings total funding raised to date to $7.5m, was led by True Ventures with participation from several existing investors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand further platform functionality, grow client support and the platform’s marketplace of connected apps and services.

Led by Jonathan Murray, CEO and Co-founder, MyVR provides a cloud-based software solution for vacation rental owners and property managers. From a centralized dashboard, customers can manage 30+ premium listing sites (including AirBnB, HomeAway, and VRBO), launch their own direct sales channels, and automate renter communications and day-to-day workflow.

Prior investors in the company include Y Combinator, SV Angel, Paul Buchheit, Clem Bason, Chris Dixon, Don Hutchinson, Ben Boyer, Alex Rampell, and Tod Sacerdoti.
