Alcide Raises $5.2M in Seed Funding Round

-

Alcide, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based cloud workload protection platform, raised $5.2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Intel Capital and Elron.

Led by Ranny Nachmias, CEO and Co-Founder, and Gadi Naor, CTO and Co-Founder, Alcide has emerged from stealth mode launching an universal network security platform designed to meet the needs of today’s data centers, including hybrid, multi-compute and multi-cloud data environments, enabling DevOps and SecOps teams to protect them from malicious attacks, including internal threats and data exfiltration, via real-time, aerial visibility and granular perspectives of both infrastructure and applications.
The solution integrates with all combinations of legacy and emerging platforms, including cloud, container, VMs and bare metals.
The company is also announcing its exclusive preview program, which already includes select mid and large scale U.S. enterprise software companies.
