Ataata, a Bethesda, MD-based cyber security training platform designed to reduce human error in the workplace, closed $3m in Series A financing.
The round was led by Next Frontier Capital, a Bozeman, Montana based venture capital firm, with participation from TEDCO, 2M, SaaS Ventures, ARRA Capital and senior leadership from major technology and financial firms.
The company will use the funds to accelerate customer-driven product development, consolidate its position as a leader in cyber security awareness training, and establish a presence in Bozeman.
Launched in 2016 by CEO Michael Madon, Ataata provides a cyber security training platform designed to reduce human error in the workplace. The platform delivers engaging content to employees and measures effectiveness by converting data into actionable information. The dashboard tracks employees’ attitudes about security, monitors training performance and shows companies how their workforce stacks up against others in their industry.
