Mixmax, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of email software to boost productivity, raised $10.35m in funding.
Backers included Carl Fritjofsson of Creandum, Jason Lemkin of SaaStr, Michael Dearing, Harrison Metal and Floodgate.
The company intends to use the funds to grow the team, adding support for new platforms like Outlook & Exchange, launching a mobile interface and accelerating growth.
Led by Olof Mathé, CEO and Co-founder, Mixmax provides a web and chrome app that turns the email inbox into a web-based software platform for sales, recruitment and success teams.
The tool, which lets users to communicate by automating scheduling, embedding videos directly within email, eliminating back-and-forth and setting up automated workflows that follow up intelligently, has over 10,000 customers. Mixmax also syncs back intelligently to existing CRM and ATS.
