Azumio Raises $2.5M in Series A Funding

Azumio, a Palo Alto, Calif.-basedĀ developer of a biofeedback app for smartphones, has raised $2.5m in Series A funding.

Investors include Founders Fund, Accel Partners and Felicis Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its product development introducing new services targeting big health issues.

Co-founded by CEO Bojan Bernard Bostjancic, Ph.D. and CTO Peter Kuhar, Azumio has developed Instant Heart Rate, a smartphone app that allows users to observe and compare their heart pulse by simply holding their finger over their phoneā€™s camera for ten seconds. It is available for iPhone and Android devices.
