Rocketrip Raises $15M in Series C Funding

-

Rocketrip, a NYC-based loyalty platform for employees to travel smart, raised $15m in Series C funding.

The round, which brings total funding raised to date to $32m, was led by GV (formerly Google Ventures) with participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners and Canaan Partners. In conjunction with the funding, Erik Nordlander, Partner at GV, joins Rocketrip’s board of directors.

The company will use the funds to build out its enterprise sales team.

Founded in 2013 by Dan Ruch, CEO, Rocketrip is a loyalty platform for employees to travel smart and earn rewards while doing it. The platform predicts the cost of a business trip and rewards employees with a portion of the savings when they book below that target.
Currently, the company is collaborating with travel management company (TMC) partners to develop new solutions for managed travel programs.
Clients include Pandora, Feld Entertainment, and Twitter.
