J&D’s Foods, Inc., a distributor of salt based products, has received the ZINO Society‘s 2010 $50,000 ZINO Marketplace Investment Forum Fund.
The Seattle, WA-based company is known for Bacon Salt (R), Baconnaise(R), BaconPOP(R) microwave popcorn and the recently launched Country Style Bacon Gravy Mix and Bacon Ranch Dressing & Dip Mix.
J&D’s Foods was founded in January 2007 by Justin Esch and Dave Lefkow.
Commenting on the funding, Lefkow said: “We have some huge things in store for 2011, and ZINO is going to be a big part of making them all happen.
“Without great angel investors and top-notch organizations like ZINO to bring them together, companies like ours would definitely not be able to grow as quickly as we have”, he added.
