Ceptinel, a Chilean fintech company that specializes in regulatory technology, received a $1m investment from HCS Capital Partners.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Founded in 2016, Ceptinel specializes in providing financial institutions with a range of tools to monitor and adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
The company uses Complex Event Processing and Machine Learning to satisfy a variety of institutional needs including Risk Management, Automated Audit, Market Abuse (i.e. anti-money-laundry) and many other compliance and risk related activities.
The technology transmits data securely, with on-site or cloud-based installation options.
