Swift Health Systems, Inc., a Washington, DC-based maker of an invisible orthodontic treatment, closed a $20M Series B funding.
The round brings the total amount raised to over $25M.
The company is using these additional funds to bolster customer support and scale manufacturing.
Led by Dr. John Pham, CEO and co-founder, Swift Health Systems is the maker of Inbrace, a patent protected technology solution licensed from the University of Southern California and implemented at orthodontic programs and private practices in the US. which hides brackets and wires on the back of the teeth, instead of on the visible outer surfaces within the mouth.
Powered by proprietary technology, the system applies consistent light force for tooth movement throughout treatment, as opposed to the phased application of force used by other orthodontic systems, resulting in more efficient tooth movement, and allowing patients to brush and floss normally.
