ZenLedger, a Seattle-based provider of tax software for cryptocurrency investors and their accountants, raised $1.5m in funding.
The round was led by Vestigo Ventures, with participation from Castle Island Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Mark Casady, General Partner of Vestigo Ventures, will serve as a board observer.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and expand its marketing to CPAs and individual investors.
Led by Pat Larsen, CEO, and Bryan Starbuck, CTO, ZenLedger allows users to import transactions, calculate gains and income, and prepare tax returns.
Using the platform, cryptocurrency investors can manage their portfolio, generate profit loss statements, file their taxes, and avoid IRS audits.
