Palo Alto Networks (NYSE: PANW), a Santa Clara, Calif.-based global cybersecurity company, completed its acquisition of Twistlock, the leader in container security, for approx. $410m.
This acquisition will further advance the company’s ability to extend its Prisma™ cloud security strategy and secure today’s modern applications throughout the entire life cycle.
Co-founded by Ben Bernstein and Dima Stopel, Twistlock combines vulnerability management, compliance, and runtime defense for cloud-native applications and workloads. The company serves more than 300 customers, with more than a quarter of those on the Fortune 100 list.
Twistlock co-founders, Bernstein and Stopel, will join Palo Alto Networks. Twistlock will continue to be available as a standalone product and will also be integrated into Prisma Public Cloud.
