remind.me, a Berlin, Germany-based fintech startup, raised €2m in Series A funding.
Backers included High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), Berliner Volksbank Ventures, IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft from its VC fund Kreativwirtschaft, ECONA AG and other business angels.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its team and further develop its technological platform.
Co-founded by Daniel Engelbarts and Christian Lang, who had previously founded Sparwelt.de, a savings portal for savings offers and vouchers, and sold it to RTL at the end of 2014, remind.me offers users a reminder and optimization service for contracts and insurance policies. No matter whether electricity, gas, mobile phone or car insurance contract.
Operating since 2017, the startup has already signed partnerships (including with Burda, RTL, Viessmann & Fidorbank) and now generates six-digit monthly revenues.
The remind.me team currently consists of 25 people.
