Foundation Investment Partners (FIP), a Cleveland, OH-based private equity firm, recapitalized W.A. Jones, a Whitley Co. Indiana-based distributor and upfitter of truck equipment.
The investment was made in partnership with the founders and management.
The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1880 and led by Greg McNeal, Chief Executive Officer, W.A. Jones is a large independent truck equipment dealer in the state of Indiana. The company distributes heavy truck equipment and accessories from over 40 major brands, including Boss, Western, Knapheide, Adrian Steel, and Monroe. It also provides the installation and integration of their equipment onto a customer-selected chassis.
It has over 45 employees.
