N3TWORK, a San Francisco, CA-based games, media, and technology company, closed a $40m Series C financing round.
Backers included Griffin Gaming Partners, Galaxy Digital Capital, KPCB Holdings, Korea Investment Partners, TABLE, Blue Planet Software and Ocean Road. As part of the round, former Lionsgate Interactive president and Griffin partner Peter Levin has joined the Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate growth across its first-party games portfolio, live games publishing platform, and media and audience network.
Led by Neil Young, CEO, N3TWORK aims to develop a diverse portfolio of games, provides a live games publishing platform for developers, and builds an audience network by combining media, messaging and information together with their favorite games.
The company’s current first party game portfolio includes action puzzle RPG Legendary: Game of Heroes, and the upcoming Tetris and a range of unannounced titles under development. The developer solution, SCALE PLATFORM, is already serving live games and rapidly integrating partners. THE N3TWORK, the company’s media and community app, has been in testing and will be fully deployed in 2020 both to players and as a tool for developer partners to build direct relationships with their communities.
