Copilot, a New York City- and Tel Aviv, Israel-based provider of an automated customer experience platform for connected devices, raised $5M in funding.

The round was led by JVP.

Co-founded by Tsiki Naftaly and Zvi Frank in 2016 as a spinoff of IoT solutions provider Zemingo, Copilot provides an automated customer experience platform designed for connected consumer products.

The company’s solution leverages data and engages consumers across smart and IoT (Internet of Things) devices to enable brands and manufacturers to understand the behaviors and needs of consumers, and to build a thoughtful relationship with them across their connected devices. Customers include Polaroid, Safedome, Palo Alto Innovation and Brooklyness, among others.

The company, which is adding thousands of new devices to its platform every day, will use the new capital to expand to New York City and target new markets.
