BlazeMeter, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of a cloud service to perform enterprise-grade load testing, has raised $1.2m in Series A funding from YL Ventures.
Led by CEO and founder Alon Girmonsky, BlazeMeter provides developers and Quality Assurance (QA) professionals with a self-service professional grade load testing cloud with unlimited testing capacity, comprehensive and interactive real-time reporting, and sophisticated result analysis and recommendations.
It is based on the Apache JMeter open source project.
During the beta period, the service attracted 1,500 registered users and close to 100 paying customers.
