Energyworx, a Houston, Texas, USA- and Houten, The Netherlands-based provider of cloud Energy Data Management solutions, received a strategic investment from ENGIE, through its venture capital arm ENGIE New Ventures.
ENGIE was joined by EDP, through its venture capital arm EDP Ventures, and SET Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Led by Marcel E. Smit, CEO, Energyworx provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) Energy Data Management platform which includes Cloud Meter Data Management and Energy Deal Analytics. The platform powers a variety of cloud-based, utility specific applications to understand and predict customer consumption patterns.
