CloudMine Receives $100K Investment from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania

-

CloudMine, a Philadelphia, PA-based start up that provides a back-end as a service platform for mobile application developers, has received a $100k investment from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania (BFTP/SEP).

CloudMine allows developers to quickly generate API keys to cloud-enable applications, eliminate the need to build custom backend solutions for their apps. In this way, they can focus on making their mobile apps and bringing their products to market faster and cheaper.

Led by its three co-founders, CEO Brendan McCorkle, CTO Marc Weil, and Technology Lead Ilya Braude, CloudMine is a member of the inaugural class of companies in the Project Liberty Digital Incubator, which was established by Philadelphia Media Network (PMN), the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation, Ben Franklin, Dreamit Ventures (which also backs the company) and Drexel University to stimulate the establishment and growth of digital media startups in the Philadelphia region.
