4G Clinical, a Wellesley, MA-based randomization and trial supply management (RTSM) company, raised $230M in funding.

The round was led by Goldman Sachs Asset Management.

The company intends to use the funds for global expansion.

Founded in 2015 by David Kelleher and Ed Tourtellotte, 4G Clinical provides a randomization and trial supply management (RTSM) platform for life sciences companies to reach First Patient In (FPI) fast and implement mid-study changes efficiently. The company’s clinical supply optimization solution, 4C Supply, incorporates real-time RTSM actuals to prevent stock-outs and reduce drug waste.
