Mixpanel, a San Francisco CA and Boston MA-based provider of a product analytics solution, raised $200M in Series C funding.
The round, which was led by Bain Capital Tech Opportunities, valued Mixpanel at $1.05 billion.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate product development and expand operations.
Led by Amir Movafaghi, CEO, Mixpanel helps companies measure what matters, make decisions fast, and build digital products through data. Via a self-serve product analytics solution, teams can analyze how and why people engage, convert, and retain—in real-time, across devices—to improve their user experience. It is currently powering nearly 6,000 of the world’s most innovative digital companies, including Discord, Monday.com, Noom, and Xero.
To date, $277m has been invested in Mixpanel, including its previous $65m Series B investment led by Andreessen Horowitz in 2014. The company also has offices in New York, Seattle, Austin, London, Barcelona, and Singapore.
