Gelatex, a Tallin, Estonia-based startup enabling cell-cultured meat production, raised €1.2m in seed funding.

The round was led by Change Ventures and Crosslight Partners.

The company intends to use the funds to advance its development efforts.

Led by Märt-Erik Martens and Mari-Ann Meigo-Fonseca, Gelatex has found a solution to scale and enhance the production of nanofibrous 3D scaffolding that could be used to grow cell-cultured meat.
