Varos, a San Francisco, CA and Tel Aviv, Israel-based data sharing platform for companies to compare their KPIs to their peers, raised $4M in Seed funding.

The round was led by Ibex Investors.

The company intends to use the funds to add new data sources, expand its product offering, and scale up market.

Led by CEO Yarden Shaked, Varos provides eCommerce and SaaS companies with real-time benchmarking to similar companies for their core business metrics. The platform helps its users understand their own performance vs. direct competitors by unlocking data that is currently stored in different silos. Customers can see how they stack up to peers, find under-performing metrics and answer questions to find whether spike in costs are due to performance or is it happening to everyone else too. A growing base of 250+ users is already automatically feeding marketing data to Varos’ systems, and in return seeing how they stack up against others in their space and stage. The company is already planning its expansion across additional operative departments, such as finance, product, and sales.

Varos is also an alumnus of Y Combinator.
