VinPerfect Seeks $1M in Series A Funding

-

VinPerfect, Inc., a Napa, CA-based maker of high-performance wine bottle closure, has launched a Series A-1 round seeking $1m in funding.

Led by Tim Keller, Founder & CEO, the company already raised $885k from 38 investors in the Seed Preferred financing round to bring the product to market.
According to a written statement, “The new capital will allow the company to increase production capacity, expand its sales force, and finance inventory to meet strong demand from wineries. Additional goals over the next 6 months include establishing outsourced global production and distribution deals with key industry partners”.

To help with capital raising efforts, and to allow the company’s founders to remain focused on growing the business, VinPerfect has hired Christopher Gutek, an active angel investor and most recently an Executive Director in Morgan Stanley’s Equity Research department.
