7 Generation Capital (7Gen), a Vancouver, BC, Canada-based electric vehicle (EV) and charging infrastructure leasing company, raised $8M in Series A funding.
The round was led by FTQ and Siemens Financial Services.
The company intends to use the funds to expand their vehicle and charger offerings, improve the financing capabilities, and develop a software platform to facilitate project development and ongoing decision-making with their customer fleets.
Led by CEO Frans Tjallingii, 7Gen helps medium- and heavy-duty fleets deploy electric vehicles (EVs) and chargers. Focused on supporting commercial fleet operators, the company’s advisory and leasing service integrates technology selection, planning, financing, software, installation, and maintenance. This allows their client fleets to focus on their core businesses while moving more easily, and profitably towards integrating zero-emission vehicles, from various OEMs, into their fleets.
