Greenzie, an Atlanta, GA-based autonomous software company, raised $8M in funding.
The round was led by Atlanta Ventures with participation from Bobcat Company.
The company intends to use the funds to grow its engineering team, to add additional manufacturers to the Robotic Ready program, as well as to continue to grow its fleet of robotic workers already deployed with customers in the field.
Led by CEO Charles Brian Quinn, Greenzie aims to free humans from repetitive outdoor labor. To this end, it the company builds software for autonomous robotic commercial lawn mowers. Its Robotic Ready program gives manufacturers the ability to upfit mowers with soon to be industry-standard autonomous mowing functionality.
