Trimble (NASDAQ: TRMB), a Westminster, CO-based industrial technology company, acquired Transporeon, an Ulm, Germany-based cloud-based transportation management software platform provider.
The amount of the deal was €1.88 Billion. Trimble will acquire Transporeon from Hg, a software and services investor and current majority shareholder in the business.
With the acquisition, expected to close in the first half of 2023, subject to customary closing conditions including regulatory approvals, Trimble will expand its offering.
