Respondology, a Boulder, CO-based company providing solutions that remove toxic and bot comments from platforms, raised $11M in Series A funding.
Backers included Iron Gate Capital, SJF Ventures, Zelkova Ventures and Service Provider Capital. They joined Boulder Heavy Industries and RLB Holdings.
The company intends to use the funds to hire talent to deliver on the global demand for its product and services, and to accelerate its technology and features roadmap.
Led by CEO Erik Swain, Respondology is a technology company whose comment moderation platform platform enables users to remove toxic and bot comments across platforms, controlling abuse and spam online. The technology operates in 22 languages, removing toxic comments and spam from public view in less than a second, creating a more engaging environment for brands and their followers while improving return on ad spend (ROAS) for social media advertisers.
Respondology, also a Boulder Heavy Industries portfolio company (BHI), counts 240 customers across sports, entertainment and leading consumer brands.
