Vivocha, a Cagliari, Italy-based provider of a cloud customer interations platform, has raised € 1.5m in venture capital funding.
Backers include Vertis Venture and Principia II.
The company, which also has offices in Milan and San Francisco, intends to use the funding for marketing and sales efforts, team completion (http://www.vivocha.com/careers/), and product development into the Mobile and Social field.
Co-founded by Federico Pinna (CTO) and Gianluca Ferranti (CEO), Vivocha offers a cloud-based service that allows businesses to engage their customers online using the most effective communication channel (video, voice, chat, social media, surveys) at the right time. It is totally free for most users.
Among others, enterprise clients include Enel, Wind-Infostrada, Fastweb, Findomestic, Genialloyd, ING Direct, CheBanca, Edison, Foppapedretti, RCS, Linear, WeBank, Ausilium, PosteMobile, Nectar, and several e-commerce companies.
In conjunction with the funding, Vivocha also renewed its Board of Directors, which now includes:

– Renato Vannucci (Vertis SGR),
– Marco Magnocavallo (Principia SGR),
– Pinna and Ferranti.
