Lindus Health, a London, UK-based clinical trials startup, raised $18M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Creandum, with participation from PayPal co-founder Peter Thiel and returning investors Seedcamp, Hambro Perks and Amino Collective. Creandum General Partner Fredrik Cassel, previously on the board at Spotify, will join the Lindus Health board.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its technology platform to deliver more end-to-end clinical trials and quality data to research sponsors, and hire for a broad range of business development, clinical operations and operational roles.
Launched in 2021 by Michael Young and Meri Beckwith, Lindus Health provides a platform to manage a clinical trial from start to finish. Having already delivered more than 80 clinical trials across the US, UK and Europe, the company is next launching trials for treatments for menopause, tinnitus, insomnia and childhood myopia.
Lindus now has a team of 40.
