CXOWare, a Spokane, WA-based provider of a Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) solution for risk exposure assessment and management, raised $1.25m in funding.
Backers included security expert and Baltimore Technologies founder and former CEO Dr. Henry Beker, who invested $1m, and Inland TechStart Fund, Spokane Angel Alliance, and Seattle Alliance of Angels, which made a combined $250k follow on investment.
The company intends to use the capital to increase sales and marketing presence nationwide.
Led by CEO Steven Tabacek and former Nationwide Insurance CISO and Huntington Bank CISO Jack Jones, CXOWare provides large finance, information technology services, manufacturing, retail, and oil & gas energy corporations with a SaaS-based Factor Analysis of Information Risk (FAIR) solution (FAIRiq) designed to improve their ability to identify and measure the economic loss exposure associated with information security & operational risk.
