HammerTech, a Melbourne, Australia- and Menlo Park, CA-based construction safety software company, raised US$70M in Growth funding.

The round was led by Riverwood Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate business expansion and product innovation.

Led by Ben Leach, CEO, and James Harris, HammerTech provides a safety intelligence software platform that was created to improve worker safety and solve site efficiency challenges. Launched in 2013, HammerTech is now used by over 20,000 projects led by construction’s contractors including Hutchinson, DPR Construction, Shawmut Design and Construction, and John Paul Construction to make their job sites among the safest in the world.

The company now serves over 500 clients worldwide, including contracting giants with multibillion-dollar turnovers.
