Edit Cloud, a London, UK-based provider of a cloud based, AI-powered editing platform, raised £2M in funding.
The round was led by Edge, with angel investors including Simon Ward, and Justin Cooke.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Founded by CEO Simon Green, Edit Cloud provides a cloud production platform designed to allow the creation of high-quality content, through AI technology. It also aggregates cloud-based tools to enable teams to work collaboratively and efficiently.
The company has already secured partnerships with brands including ITV Studios, Adobe and AWS and supporting agencies such as Publicis.
