Capitalize, a NYC-based provider of a platform that helps consumers and financial institutions digitally find and transfer retirement assets, raised $19M in Series B funding.
The round was led by RRE Ventures with participation from existing investors including Canapi Ventures and Bling Capital, and new investors including Industry Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate technology investment in its core rollover platform and expand to serve both partners and consumers with additional features and transfer types.
Led by CEO Gaurav Sharma, Capitalize provides a platform to help consumers and their financial institutions digitally locate and transfer retirement assets, such as 401(k)s. Its technology is used by financial institutions to empower rollovers natively for their users and is also available to consumers directly.
