neuro42, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of portable MRI systems for neuroimaging and interventions, received an investment from Zynext Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate their progress and bring innovative solutions to patients.
Led by CEO and Founder Dr. Amit Vohra, neuro42 has developed portable MRI and robotic intervention technology to bring advanced imaging and treatment to the patient’s bedside. Their compact MRI scanner enables rapid diagnosis, while the robotic module aims to improve procedures like brain biopsies and ablations. Its Diagnostic MRI platform is FDA 510(K) cleared for neuroimaging.
The company is currently seeking regulatory clearance for its interventional module.
