Optiml, a Zurich, Switzerland-based provider of a digital platform for Net Zero real estate investment and renovation planning, raised $4M in Pre-Seed Extension funding.
The round was led by BitStone Capital, with participation from KOMPAS VC. Existing investors, former Google CEO Eric Schmidt’s VC Innovation Endeavors and Planet A Ventures, also participated.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate the development of the solution and expand its team to serve the customer demand in the DACH region, the UK, and beyond.
Led by CEO Evan Petkov, Optiml is an ETH Zurich spin-off that provides a scalable software solution for the decarbonization of real estate. The AI-powered software creates transparency on renovation needs and risks (status quo), optimizes decarbonization and investment strategies for assets and portfolios, and creates actionable renovation plans per asset to ensure long-term compliance with Net Zero goals and to meet business requirements.
Optiml has completed over 30 pilot projects with major industry players like AXA, Credit Suisse, and Grosvenor, and is now onboarding first large Asset Managers and Consultancies, some of which are already using the solution and offering it to their clients.
