Ceres Imaging, which rebranded as CeresAI, an Oakland, CA-based data and analytics provider that helps growers, lenders and insurers reduce their farming risk and improve yields, raised an undisclosed amount in Series D funding.
The round was led by Remus Capital.
The company intends to use the funds for expansion both domestically and internationally, and further enhancement of its focus on agribusinesses and financial services on its path toward profitability.
Led by CEO Ramsey Masri, CeresAI delivers solutions that help agriculture stakeholders build more profitable and sustainable operations. Through computer vision and machine learning-powered technology, it detects issues, measures outcomes based on ROI, and recommends action with confidence.
Along with these developments, the company has appointed Remus CEO Krishna K. Gupta as Chairman.
