Prof Jim, a Cincinnati, OH-based AI-driven education startup, raised USD1.5M in funding.
The round was led by Don Douglas, Managing Director of the Geekdom Fund and Manager of 186k Ventures.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.
Co-founded by CEO Dr. Deepak Sekar, and Pranav Mehta, Prof Jim provides a Generative AI solution that automatically transforms text into interactive video, with narration, quizzes, code blocks, and other rich content.
In conjunction with the funding, Prof Jim has bolstered its leadership team with the addition of two employees:
- Kelly King, the new Vice President of Partnerships.
- Dr. Kelly Puzio as the Director of Learning Research.
Prof Jim currently employs 35 people across the United States and internationally.
