QMill, an Espoo, Finland-based quantum-computing company, raised €4M in funding.
Backers included Antler, and Maki.vc while Business Finland, a Finnish government agency for innovation, trade, and investment, which provided a grant.
The company intends to use the funds to develop its quantum algorithms, expand the service offerings, and to hire 20 people within the next couple of years.
Founded in 2024, QMill is a quantum-computing company dedicated to developing quantum algorithms that provide near-term practical benefits for industrial applications. By leveraging quantum hardware, it aims to solve complex optimization problems and deliver significant value across various sectors.
The company targets sectors such as finance, telecommunications, real estate, energy, and supply chain logistics.
