SIRIUS, a Berlin, Germany-based music school startup, raised $4m in Seed funding.

The round was led by Market One Capital, with participation from Silicon Gardens, Fund F by Female Founders, New Renaissance Ventures and Angel Invest.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Founded in 2020 by Sebastian Riegelbauer, joined later by Cellist Charlotte von Dryander, SIRIUS connects learners with teachers via an AI powered technology platform that enhances the experience for both. The virtual music classroom is designed for 1-to-1 online lessons, and offers high sound quality, enables users to schedule lessons, and features virtual piano, metronome, sheet music, and recording tools.
