DessIA Raises €3M in Funding

-

DessIA, an Antony, France-based AI engineering automation startup, raised €3m in funding.

The round was led by Matterwave Ventures, Supernova Invest, and the Orano Venture Fund.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its international expansion and reinforce its technical and commercial teams.

Led by Jean-Pierre Roux, CEO, and Pierre-Emmanuel Dumouchel, CSO and Founder, DessIA is a startup specializing in the development of a software platform to automate engineering processes using artificial intelligence. Clients build and operate customized AI-Apps to digitize and automate their design and manufacturing engineering processes, enabling the capture and perpetuation of their expertise. The company works with several major companies in the automotive, aerospace, rail, and naval sectors, with the goal of becoming the leader in engineering automation.

As part of its future cooperation with Orano, DessIA will provide a decision-support software platform based on artificial intelligence and bots, which automates the generation of multiple system architectures, using – among other sources – engineers’ knowledge. This solution will help improve performance in engineering studies. Use cases envisaged include studies relating to cabling, ventilation and electrical systems for industrial installations.
