Ondore, a Mexico City and San Francisco, CA-based Big Data analysis company focused on online reputation management, raised $1.5m from Alta Ventures Mexico.
The company plans to use the capital to expand its sales and marketing efforts in Latin America and Spanish Speaking US.
Founded in 2005 by Fernando Luege, Ondore develops technology for the real-time processing and analyzing of vast amounts of information from major social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter, blogs, videos, forums, news and websites.
Its flagship product, Ondore Scout, a monitoring and analysis tool for social media and the web, is used by companies and agencies including Televisa, the media conglomerate, and Ogilvy, a marketing and advertising agency.
