NextLevelApps Raises Pre-Seed Funding

-

TheNextLevel, a Manchester, UK-based mobile commerce startup working through community engagement, raised a pre-seed funding round.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

DSW Ventures, the venture capital investment arm of DSW Capital, led the round, which also saw the participation from Richard Hong, the cofounder of e-commerce personal care brand owner, Pangaea Holdings, and technology and logistics platform, OpenBorder. Elizabeth Gooch MBE, a prominent non-executive and angel investor, has joined the board as Chair.

The company intends to use the funds for product development and expansion.

Created by founders Paul Rawlings and Ionut Vasiliu, TheNextLevel provides a platform that enables online brands to build and cultivate communities next to their mobile storefront. The solution offers brands like Oscar Piastri the ability to communicate with their audience in a more personalised way, enhancing customer loyalty and driving sustainable growth.

The company will also further develop their partner portal, which allows e-commerce agencies to generate revenue by creating sales opportunities, as well as onboard brands onto its platform.
