Muybridge, a Fornebu, Norway-based deeptech startup, raused €8M in funding.
The round was, led by Fairpoint Capital with participation from RunwayFBU, Idekapita, Vikingstad Invest, and angels.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and bring its imaging platform to different markets such as sports, broadcasting, surveillance and enterprise communication.
Founded by Håkon Espeland and Anders Tomren in 2020, Muybridge has developed a tech imaging platform that turns cameras into software. Based on a multi-camera system with consecutively mounted, high resolution image sensors and hardware architectures, the platform enables future-proof video and sensor-fusion applications: image processing capabilities and real-time virtual camera movements, coupled with near-infinitely extendable coverage deployed on negligible physical footprint.
