Island, a Dallas, TX-based enterprise browser company, received an investment from Citi Ventures in Series D funding.

The round, which valued the company at $3 Billion, was led by Coatue Management and Sequoia Capital.

The company intends to use the funds to expand operations and its development efforts.

Led by CEO Mike Fey, Island created an enterprise browser embedding advanced security, IT and network controls, data protections, and application access into the browsing experience users expect. It gives IT and security organizations complete control over the last mile of user activity with software as a service (SaaS) and web applications. The Enterprise Browser:

  • Streamlines and strengthens security postures.
  • Improves productivity for employees and contractors.
  • Reduces cost by modernizing enterprises’ IT infrastructure.

The company has research and development in Tel Aviv, Israel.
