Kardome, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based voice technology company, raised $20M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Korea Investment Partners. Additional participants included Next Gear Ventures, KB Investment, Honeystone Ventures, J-Ventures, Hyundai Motor Group (HMG), Talcar Corp., and Techstars.
The company intends to use the funds to improve voice technology, advancing ambient audio computing.
Led by CEO Dani Cherkassky, Kardome offers patented spatial hearing technology that simultaneously enhances speech signals from multiple speakers in real time and isolating the target speech providing voice experiences that are as natural as face-to-face conversations. The company’s software has already been implemented in more than a million devices. The funding follows Kardome’s strategic partnerships with leading players in the consumer electronics and automotive sectors, further broadening the reach and application of its Spatial Hearing AI technology.
The company also announced the opening of a new regional headquarters in Seoul, South Korea.
