I AND C-Cruise.Co, Ltd. (IACC), a company that operates a Japanese solar power web portal called Green Energy Navi, received an investment from Fenox Venture Capital.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to launch their North American operation this June.
Led by Kazuyuki Uemura, CEO, IACC operates Green-Energy Navi, a marketplace that matches solar power solutions to consumers’ energy requirements. The web portal offers user reviews and cost estimates for comparison and selection of solutions from multiple vendors. Consumers also access to practical information such as best practices, government subsidies and tax incentives for using solar energy.
IACC has more than 40,000 subscribers, and 400 manufacturers and service providers online.
The company has yearly revenue exceeding USD$10m.
