Humans.tech, a Rome, Italy-based company specializing in AI-powered intelligent interfaces, received an investment from Translated, a Rome, Italy-based global leader in AI-first localization solutions.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The companies also announced a strategic collaboration to accelerate the development of Translated’s AI models and expand their applications beyond localization to meet the evolving needs of a global audience.
This collaboration will enable Translated’s customers to benefit from faster and more seamless integration of its technologies, including Lara, its AI architecture for translation. Simultaneously, Humans.tech will gain direct access to Translated’s proprietary AI models, allowing them to extend these innovations to new contexts and industries.

As part of the collaboration, Translated acquired a 40% stake in Humans.tech, with the option to increase its stake to 51%. The partnership allows Translated to tap into the expertise of over 60 skilled software engineers at Humans.tech, with plans to hire additional engineers in 2025.

Today, Translated delivers translations in 200 languages across 40+ specialized fields to over 300,000 customers, including Airbnb, Uber, and Glovo.
