BeZero Carbon, a London, UK-based carbon ratings agency, raised US$32M in Series C funding.
The round was led by Temasek-founded GenZero, with participation from the Japan Airlines, Translink Innovation Fund, EDF Pulse Ventures, Hitachi Ventures, Illuminate Financial, Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), Molten Ventures, Qima, and Quantum Innovation Fund.
The company intends to use the funds to expand its ratings coverage of domestic and sovereign compliance markets, as well as CORSIA.
Led by CEO Tommy Ricketts and CIO Sebastien Cross, BeZero Carbon is a carbon ratings agency that equips its ratings and risk products to organisations with the knowledge, tools and confidence to make better climate decisions.
It has subsidiaries in global financial hubs New York and Singapore.
